Easy Homemade Christmas Gift Ideas- 5 Mason Jar Cookie Recipes

Gift Giving can be simple and thoughtful. These jarred cookie mixes are sure to bring smiles to your friends, neighbors, and even your mailman and other delivery drivers.

1.Caramel/Chocolate Oatmeal Cookies in a Jar  

Flour Mixture: 
1 cup all purpose flour
1 tsp cinnamon
3/4 tsp baking soda  
1/4 tsp salt
1/8 tsp nutmeg
Other Layers:
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup white sugar
1 cup old fashioned oats
1 cup swirled chocolate and caramel chips
1/2 cup flaked coconut

Combine the flour mixture in a small bowl. This is the 1st layer to go into the 1 quart Mason Jar. Next, layer the next 5 ingredients, packing well between each layer. Cover and Decorate with ribbon and tag w/prep recipe! Ready to Gift!
To Bake: You will need 1/2 c softened butter, 1 egg, and 3/4 tsp vanilla. In a bowl, beat butter, egg, and vanilla. Add jar mix and mix well. Drop by teaspoonfuls 2 inches apart. Bake at 350 degrees for 9-11 minutes.

Flour Mixture:
2 cups all purpose flour
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp salt
Other Layers:
3/4 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup sugar
1 1/2 cups holiday M&Ms

Mix together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Place in bottom of a 1 quart Mason jar and pack down. Next layer the brown sugar, white sugar, and M&Ms making sure to pack down between layers. Cover and decorate with ribbon or twine and include recipe. Ready to Gift!
To Bake: You will need 3/4 cup softened butter, 1 egg, 1 tsp vanilla. Beat the butter, egg, and vanilla together. Dump in the contents of jar and mix well. Drop by spoonfuls onto cookie sheet. Bake for 10-14 minutes at 350 degrees.

To Bake: You will need1/2 cup softened butter, 1 tsp vanilla, 1 egg. Combine these ingredients and mix with the jarred ingredients. Mix well. Roll into 1 1/2 inch balls and bake at 350 degrees for about 10 minutes.

1/3 cup brown sugar
Flour Mixture:
                3/4 cup flour
                1/2 tsp baking powder
                1/8 tsp baking soda

1 cup quick cooking oats

Place the white sugar in the 1 quart Mason jar. Press down to make compact layers. Next layer the brown sugar, then the flour mixture, oats, Craisins, and white chocolate chips. Cover and Decorate. Include the Baking Recipe. Ready to Gift!
To Bake: Will need 1/2 cup softened butter, 1 egg, 1 tsp vanilla. Mix together these ingredients then combine with the jarred ingredients and mix well. Cover and refrigerate for 30 minutes. Place small round balls of dough 2 inches apart on an ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 375 degrees for 8-10 minutes.

2 cups flour
2 tsp cornstarch
1 tsp baking soda

Other Layers:
3/4 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup white sugar
1 cup Andes mint baking chips
Place the Flour Mixture as the first layer in a 1 quart Mason Jar. Compact down then proceed to add brown sugar, white sugar, and Andes baking chips, compacting down after each layer. Place the Cover, decorate with some fabric or ribbon, tag, at least 5 whole Andes Mints, and include recipe. Ready to Gift!

To Bake: You will need 1 1/2 sticks softened butter and 1 egg. Mix the butter and eggs. Pour off top layer of mints from the jar into a separate container. Mix the rest of contents of jar with the butter/egg mixture thoroughly. After mixed, stir in the Andes baking chips and 5 Andes mints chopped into chunks. Wrap dough in plastic wrap and chill in frig for at least 3 hours. After chilled, scoop by tablespoons onto cookie pan and bake at 350 degrees for 8-10 minutes.
